     Eleanor H. Bousman was born on 19 November 1810 at Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of William Bousman and Sarah Whalley.¹ Eleanor H. Bousman married Noah VanZant, son of Zachariah Noble VanZant and Letitia Clayton, on 12 September 1833 at Highland County, Ohio.¹ Eleanor H. Bousman died on 6 March 1893 at Highland County, Ohio, at age 82.¹

     Hautentia Renoe was born in 1820 at Virginia.² She married Eli Ambrose VanZant, son of Zachariah Noble VanZant and Letitia Clayton, on 5 May 1836 at Highland County, Ohio.¹ Hautentia Renoe died on 6 October 1869 at Washington Township, Highland County, Ohio.¹ She was buried at Prospect Cemetery, Berrysville, Highland County, Ohio.¹

     Mary Ann Thayer was born on 17 October 1821 at Highland County, Ohio.^1,2 She was the daughter of Joseph Thayer and Kitty Ann Snyder.² Mary Ann Thayer married Joshua VanZant, son of Zachariah Noble VanZant and Letitia Clayton, on 22 August 1839.³ Mary Ann Thayer died on 28 September 1892 at Seward Township, Kendall County, Illinois, at age 70.² Her obituary read, "Died, at her residence in Seward, September 28, 1892, of paralysis, Mrs. Joshua VanZant, aged 70 years, 11 months & 11 days. She was born in Highland County, Ohio; her maiden name was Mary Ann Thayer. She married Joshua VanZant in 1839 and came to Illinois in 1851. Nine children were born to them, six of whom are still living and four being with her during her last illness. The funeral occurred Friday at 1 o'clock. About seventy-five teams followed the remains to the Aux Sable Church. The Rev. A.W. Chapman conducted the funeral service and preached an excellent sermon. He spoke very highly of the departed. The church was beautifully decorated with flowers; on the casket was a wreath of beautiful flowers, and a sheaf of ripe wheat lying across a sickle made of flowers, representing old age. She was laid to rest in Aux Sable Cemetery beside her kindred gone before. She leaves an aged husband with whom she spent fifty-three years of wedded life. The six who mourn the loss of a loving mother are John VanZant of Iowa, Frank VanZant of Chicago, George VanZant of Seward, Mrs. Martha Smith of Joliet, Mrs. H. and M.M. Falkenberg of Seward. Four brothers and four sisters survive her, who, with many friends, are bowed down with sorrow for she was loved by all who knew her. She always had a kind word for everybody. Mr. Joshua VanZant and children wish to thank their friends through THE RECORD who so kindly assisted them in their sad bereavement."⁴ She was buried at Aux Sable Cemetery, Aux Sable Township, Grundy County, Illinois.⁴

     Bertha Elizabeth Hilliard was born on 10 December 1824 at Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of William Hilliard and Ann N.      Berkey Earl Knavel was born on 31 January 1916 at Windber, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.¹ He was the son of Edgar S. Knavel and Velma Gertrude Berkey.¹ Berkey Earl Knavel married Mary Virginia Weaver, daughter of Milton S. Weaver and Mary Rebecca "Mollie" Penrod, on 16 October 1937 at Somerset County, Pennsylvania.¹ Berkey Earl Knavel died on 22 February 2006 at Williston, Levy County, Florida, at age 90.¹

     Edgar S. Knavel was born on 17 December 1883 at Pennsylvania.¹ He died on 30 October 1956 at Pennsylvania at age 72.¹

     George Harmon Dalrymple was born on 27 May 1886 at Walton, Roane County, West Virginia.^1,3,4,5 He was the son of Herbert Clarence Dalrymple and Eliza Elonore Atkinson.^6,3,5 George Harmon Dalrymple married Gena Frances Smith, daughter of George Francis Smith and Lucinda Jane Carpenter, circa 1908.^1,6 George Harmon Dalrymple died on 20 December 1943 at Akron, Summit County, Ohio, at age 57.^7,5 He was buried at Mt. Peace Cemetery, Akron, Summit County, Ohio.^7,5

     Herbert Francis Dalrymple was born on 22 September 1908 at Walton, Roane County, West Virginia.^1,2,3,4 He was the son of George Harmon Dalrymple and Gena Frances Smith.¹ Herbert Francis Dalrymple married Helen Edna Koehler, daughter of Gottfried Ludweg Koehler and Mary Huppert, on 18 May 1951 at Summit County, Ohio.⁴ Herbert Francis Dalrymple died on 30 January 1970 at Los Angeles County, California, at age 61.³ He was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.³

     Leonard Emerson Dalrymple was born on 21 April 1911 at Akron, Summit County, Ohio.^1,3 He was the son of George Harmon Dalrymple and Gena Frances Smith.^1,2 Leonard Emerson Dalrymple married Violet Lloyd, daughter of Louis Lloyd and Cora E. Allen, on 9 March 1929 at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana.⁴ Leonard Emerson Dalrymple married Mary Elizabeth Jenkins, daughter of John Frederick Jenkins and Flossie Louise Cochran. Leonard Emerson Dalrymple married Thelma Virginia Platt on 11 March 1939 at Summit County, Ohio.⁵ Leonard Emerson Dalrymple married Gladys I. Stevens on 7 December 1946 at Summit County, Ohio.⁶ Leonard Emerson Dalrymple married Ethel Marie Armstrong, daughter of James Gideon Armstrong and Sophia Viola Myers, on 8 November 1952 at Portage County, Ohio.⁷ Leonard Emerson Dalrymple died on 16 November 1974 at Greensburg, Summit County, Ohio, at age 63.³ He was buried at Greentown Cemetery, Greentown, Stark County, Ohio.³
