     Luella Gertrude Snyder was born on 21 December 1877 at Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Zepheniah "Seth" Snyder and Zelda Margaret McCandless.1 Luella Gertrude Snyder married King Irvin Neely, son of Peter Neely and Sarah Charlotte Lawrence, on 16 March 1899.1 Luella Gertrude Snyder died on 27 October 1946 at Sumner, Pierce County, Washington, at age 68.2 Her obituary read, "Mrs. Luella G. Neely, aged 68 year, of Plaingrove, died Saturday after a short illness at the home of her brother, W. H. Snyder, of Sumner, Wash., where she had been visiting for the past year. She was the widow of K. I. Neely who preceded her in death in 1936. She was a member of the Plaingrove Presbyterian church and O.E.S. of Grove City. Survivors include one son, S. R. Neely, Volant, R. D. 2; two daughters, Mrs. Clare McMurray, Slippery Rock, R. D. 2, and Mrs. Vida McNulty, Volant, R. D. 2; two brothers George S. Snyder, Slippery Rock, and W. H. Snyder, Sumner, Wash., and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. S. C. Barber, and one brother, Warren Snyder. It is thought that the body will be here on Thursday. Funeral arrangements will be announced later."2 She was buried at Plain Grove Presbyterian Cemetery, Plain Grove, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.2
