     Seth Raymond Neely was born on 22 May 1904 at Butler County, Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of King Irvin Neely and Luella Gertrude Snyder.1 Seth Raymond Neely died on 2 March 1971 at West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, at age 66.1 His obituary read, "SLIPPERY ROCK – Seth Neely, 66, of Prospect, formerly of Plain Grove Township, died in St. Mary Hospital, West Palm Beach, Fla. at 6 a.m. today. He was born in Butler County on May 22, 1904, to the late King and Lula Snyder Neely. He was a retired farmer and machinery salesman. Mr. Neely was a member of the United Church of Prospect, Lodge 433 F and AM, the Valley of New Castle Consistory of New Castle. He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys Heckathorn: two daughters, Mrs. Don (Madge) Witing of Edinburg, Mrs. Don (Donna) Shaw of West Palm Beach: two sons, John of Volant RD 2 and Dale of Daytona Beach, Fla.: two sisters, Mrs. Vida McNulty of Volant RD 2 and Mrs. Clair McMurray of Slippery Rock: 16 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Joseph W. Ligo Funeral Home in Slippery rock from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. James McClelland. Burial will follow in Plain Grove South Cemetery."2 He was buried at Plain Grove Presbyterian Cemetery, Plain Grove, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.2
