Sarah Sipe was born on 28 April 1824 at Milford Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Jacob Sipe and Elizabeth Dull.1 Sarah Sipe married Lewis Henry Stauffer, son of Christopher Stauffer and Elizabeth Cupp, on 24 October 1852.1 Sarah Sipe died on 17 August 1898 at Paint Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, at age 74.1
