Franklin Delano McNutt was born on 29 June 1933 at Carpenter, Tuppers Plains, Meigs County, Ohio.1 He was the son of Ira Francis McNutt Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Griffith.1 Franklin Delano McNutt became Michael Wayne McNutt's adoptive father.1 Franklin Delano McNutt died on 30 May 2009 at Magnolia, Ohio, at age 75.1 His obituary read, "McNutt, Bishop Franklin D., 75, of Magnolia, passed away Sat. morning in his residence surrounded by his loving family. in 2007. Frank was a member of Sandy Valley Church of God and the Mineral City Senior Center. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and loved to fish. Preceded in death by 5 sisters and eight brothers, including his twin, Francis, and a grandson, Micheal Rohrer. Survived by his wife, Norma J. McNutt whith whom he celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary on Aug, 24, 2008; two daughters, Sherry King and Penny and Joseph Eddy; four sons and a daughter-inlaw, Michael McNutt, Randy and Diane McNutt, Joseph McNutt and his fiance, Brenda Folts, and Charles McNutt, all of Magnolia; one sister, Flora Long, of New Philadelphia; 13 granchildren and seven great-grand-
children, with two great grandchildren soon to be born; and a special ex-grandaughter-in-law, Stephanie. Services will be conducted Wed. at 11 a.m. in Sandy Valley Church of God with Pastor Clifford Hughes and Frank's neice Pastor Sandra Mann, officiating. Internment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wed, 10-11, all at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bishop McNutt's memory may be made to the family
to help with expenses. The family would like to thank Stark County Hospice for the wonderful care given to him, and a special thank you to Delsie McKinney for all she did to help the family. She liked going shopping and also collecting angel figurines. In addition to her father, Carol is survived by her husband, Merlyn Immel, whom she married on Aug 30, 1963,
in Sugarcreek; a daughter, Donna (Tom) Thomas of Dundee; a son, David (Theresa ) Immel of Dover; four grandchildren, Justin and Kimberly Thomas and Brian and Brandon Immel; three sisters, Mary (Dave) Abbuhl of Massillon, Naomi Martin of Uhrichsville, and Darleen (Dave) Berry of New Philadelphia; four brothers, Bill Martin of Bolivar, Sonny (Ruth) Martin, Eddie (Jane) Martin of Strasburg and Dan (Karol) Martin of New Philadelphia; and several neices and nephews. heart attack. He was born Aug. 22, 1932, at New Marshfield, O., to the late Herbert B. McNutt and Helen (Speaker) McNutt Charles Beck. He attended the former Mineral City High School at Mineral City, O., and was retired from Oster Sand & Gravel at Bolivar, O., where he was a heavy equipment operator. He also was a former Tuscarawas County Reserve Sheriff Deputy, Mineral City Police deputy and Strasburg Police deputy. A veteran of the Korean War, he received the Service Medal and two Bronze Stars. He was a member of the Mineral City American Legion Post 519 and was a past commander, a member and honorary member of the Mineral City Fire Department. He was very active in the Mineral City Community during his life. His hobbies were trap shooting, fishing, mushroom hunting and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Jessie E.
