     Rupert Alison Embrey was born on 20 February 1896 at Ohio.^2,3 He was the son of Robert Howard Embrey and Rowena Anna Robertson.¹ Rupert Alison Embrey married E. Zenith Lowery, daughter of Alonzo L. Dow Lowery and Levina Sarah Kasler, on 15 October 1915 at Athens County, Ohio.¹ Rupert Alison Embrey died on 2 July 1984 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at age 88.¹

     E. Zenith Lowery was born on 21 November 1895 at Roseville, Perry County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Alonzo L. Dow Lowery and Levina Sarah Kasler.¹ E. Zenith Lowery married Rupert Alison Embrey, son of Robert Howard Embrey and Rowena Anna Robertson, on 15 October 1915 at Athens County, Ohio.¹ E. Zenith Lowery died on 10 November 1985 at Albany, Athens County, Ohio, at age 89.¹

     Alonzo L. Dow Lowery was born on 9 October 1870.² He died on 10 October 1943 at age 73.²

Zenith Lowery.¹ Reginald Dow Embrey married Irene Davis, daughter of Clarence Franklin Davis and Dora Gaskella, on 10 March 1937 at Athens County, Ohio.¹ Reginald Dow Embrey married Ada Frances Darling.¹ Reginald Dow Embrey died on 16 March 1987 at Nelsonville, Athens County, Ohio, at age 70.¹

     Irene Davis was born on 14 February 1918 at Athens County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Clarence Franklin Davis and Dora Gaskella.² Irene Davis married Reginald Dow Embrey, son of Rupert Alison Embrey and E. Zenith Lowery, on 10 March 1937 at Athens County, Ohio.¹ Irene Davis died on 28 March 1981 at Athens, Athens County, Ohio, at age 63.^1,3

     Ada Frances Darling was born on 27 February 1916.¹ She married Reginald Dow Embrey, son of Rupert Alison Embrey and E. Zenith Lowery.¹ Ada Frances Darling died on 13 July 2001 at Athens County, Ohio, at age 85.¹

     Rilla Mae Chaffin was born on 18 September 1906 at Salisbury Township, Meigs County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of William Edgar Chaffin and Barbara Ann Thompson.¹ Rilla Mae Chaffin married Eugene Alfonzo Embrey, son of Robert Howard Embrey and Rowena Anna Robertson, on 2 July 1925 at Muskingum County, Ohio.² Rilla Mae Chaffin died on 31 January 2003 at El Paso County, Texas, at age 96.¹

     Innes Belle Embrey was born on 18 November 1911 at Athens County, Ohio.^1,2 She was the daughter of Robert Howard Embrey and Rowena Anna Robertson.¹ Innes Belle Embrey died on 17 September 2001 at Muskingum County, Ohio, at age 89.¹

     Sarah Jane McNutt was born on 24 March 1851.¹ She died on 25 March 1851.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Armitage McNutt and Rowena C. Chase.¹

     Marshall Moore McNutt was born on 8 April 1879 at Monroe Township, Perry County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of Henry John McNutt and Durinda Ellen Stanley.¹ Marshall Moore McNutt married Mary Margaret Hammond, daughter of Oliver Crumwell Hammond and Martha Dirth, on 24 June 1903 at Athens, Athens County, Ohio.¹ Marshall Moore McNutt became Oliver Crumwell McNutt's adoptive father.¹ Marshall Moore McNutt married Hazel Leona McNutt, daughter of Oliver Crumwell McNutt and Margret Inez Thompson.¹ Marshall Moore McNutt became Marsha Kay McNutt's adoptive father.¹ Marshall Moore McNutt died on 30 April 1945 at Union Hospital, Dover, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, at age 66.¹ His obituary read, "Marshall M. McNutt, 66, died at 6:30 a.m., today at Union hospital of injuries suffered
last Thursday when he was trampled by a cow on his farm on the Zoar Hill road. Mr. McNutt was born April 8, 1879, in Athens county. His first wife, Mary Hammond

Dover; Mrs. Walter Erwine of Rt. 2, Zanesville; Francis McNutt of Toledo and Mary Ann and Marsha Kay, both of the home. He also leaves 28 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters, Francis and Arthur McNutt of Athens, Peter, Samuel and Sherman all of Canton; Charles of North Industry, Mrs. Dista Marshall of Westerville, and John McNutt and Mrs. Rufus
Anderson, both of Glouster. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Beach Grove church near Glouster, where burial will be made. The Rev. Alva Shifflet will officiate. The body is at the Toland Funeral Home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.

     Hazel Leona McNutt was born on 7 September 1927 at Trimble Township, Athens County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Oliver Crumwell McNutt and Margret Inez Thompson.¹ Hazel Leona McNutt married Marshall Moore McNutt, son of Henry John McNutt and Durinda Ellen Stanley.¹ Hazel Leona McNutt became Marsha Kay McNutt's adoptive mother.¹ Hazel Leona McNutt married Darrell Paul Eveland, son of Paul H. Eveland and Margurette Neff, after 1945.¹ Hazel Leona McNutt died on 9 December 1997 at Lancaster, Fairfield County, Ohio, at age 70.¹ Her obiturary read, "Hazel L. Eveland, 70, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1997, at Fairfield Medical Center. Born Sept. 7, 1927, in Glouster, she was the daughter of the Oliver and Margret Thompson McNutt. Mrs. Eveland was a former employee of Ray-O-Vac and the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette. She was affiliated with Fairfield Christian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Gale Eveland LeVeck of Myrtle Beach, S.C., a sister-in-law, Nancy Henry; and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Eveland; and a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Eveland. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Mark Barbee officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster. Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home."¹ She was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Fairfield County, Ohio.¹

     Birdesta B. McNutt was born on 8 December 1881 at Trimble Township, Athens County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Henry John McNutt and Durinda Ellen Stanley.¹ Birdesta B. McNutt married first Charles Ivan Nelson, son of Alexander Nelson and Lana C. Haynes, on 15 December 1898 at Morgan County, Ohio.¹ Birdesta B. McNutt married second Oscar Marion Marshall, son of Joseph Marshall and Sarah Permelia Ann McCoy, on 18 March 1905.¹ Birdesta B. McNutt died on 14 March 1967 at Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, at age 85.¹

     Charles Ivan Nelson was born on 8 October 1877 at Deerfield Township, Morgan County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of Alexander Nelson and Lana C. Haynes.¹ Charles Ivan Nelson married first Birdesta B. McNutt, daughter of Henry John McNutt and Durinda Ellen Stanley, on 15 December 1898 at Morgan County, Ohio.¹ Charles Ivan Nelson married second Lillie Blanche Hemry on 13 January 1909 at McConnellsville, Morgan County, Ohio.¹ Charles Ivan Nelson died on 3 July 1954 at Morgan County, Ohio, at age 76.¹

     Alexander Nelson was born in February 1847. He died on 25 January 1927 at age 79.

     Lana C. Haynes was born in January 1853. She died in 1918.

     Oscar Marion Marshall was born on 13 February 1875 at Sciota, Pike County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of Joseph Marshall and Sarah Permelia Ann McCoy.¹ Oscar Marion Marshall married Birdesta B. McNutt, daughter of Henry John McNutt and Durinda Ellen Stanley, on 18 March 1905.¹ Oscar Marion Marshall died on 17 July 1943 at Genoa, Delaware County, Ohio, at age 68.¹
