Estep and Bessie M. Patterson.2 Delbert Forest McNutt married Mary C. Scopel on 18 March 1977.2 Delbert Forest McNutt died on 12 April 1992 at Charity Nursing Home, Dennison, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, at age 75.2 His obituary read, "Services will be held Thursday at 2 in Naylor Funeral Home at New Philadelphia for Delbert F. McNutt, 75 of 1201 Wainwright Rd. S.E., New Philadelphia. He died Sunday in Charity Nursing Home at Dennison after a long illness. Glenn Russell Carlisle will officiate, and interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia. Calling hours are today from 6 to 9 and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 2. Born at Joytown, he was a son of the late Henry b. and Rose Belle Gardner McNutt. He was a member of New Philadelphia Eagles Lodge and a pasr member of the Teamsters Union. He was an over-the-road truck driver for A.J. Weigand at Dover and Ohio Carrier Trucking at New Philadelphia and also a coal miner. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary C. Scopel, whom he married March 18, 1977; his first wife, Lucille McNutt of Jacksonville, Fla; five sons and five daughters, Jack F. McNutt Sr of Texas, Albert F. McNutt Sr. of New Philadelphia, Paul E. of Perry Fla., Lewis R. of Callahan, Fla., Lee R. of Wildwood. Fla., Mrs. Fran Cornater and Mrs Betty Jo Nolan both of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs Nancy Cocroft of Tallahassee, Fla., Mrs Penny Slocum of Virginia Beach, Va., and Mrs Julie Short of New Philadelphia; one step-daughter and two stepsons, Ann McNutt and Jack F. McNutt, both of the home,and Ronnie Lippencott of New Philadelphia;
three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Groll of Modesto, Calif., Mrs.
Thelma Probst of Barnhill, and Mrs. George (Marie) Martin
of New Philadelphia; 38 grandchildren; and 45 great-
grandchildren. one son, one stepson, three brothers and two sisters are deceased."3 He was buried at Evergreen Burial Park (now East Avenue Cemetery), New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.2

Johnson of Malvern and Mrs. Agnes Proctor of Louisville, O; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death. Services will be held Wendesday at 11 at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover wih Rev. Harold Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Sandyville. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. The family suggest that contributions be made to the Polio

Schweitzer and Geneva Belle Ellis.1 Joy Adella Schweitzer married William Griffith Murphy, son of William Henry Murphy and Margaret Elizabeth Griffith.1 Joy Adella Schweitzer married George Washington McNutt, son of Isaac Sherman McNutt and Bertha Maude Stage, on 30 April 1938 at Carroll County, Ohio.3 Joy Adella Schweitzer died on 3 September 2000 at Hennis Care Centre, Dover, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, at age 86.1,2 Her obituary read, "Joy A. McNutt, 86, went home to live with
Jesus on September 3, 2000 after a bout with cancer. She was a resident of the Hennis Care Center for the last 22 years due to the effects of polio in childhood. She and her husband, the late George W. McNutt, owned and operated the Pom-Joy Kennels on route 211 in Dover where they resided. A 1932 graduate of New Philadelphia High School, she was a member of the First Church of the Nazerine at New Philadelphia. She is survived by:
One sister, Anne E Murphy of Brooksville, Florida, three neices; Georgia "Boots" and Lloyd O. "Otie" Didinger of San Diego, California, Glenna and Clifford Love of Palm Harbour, Florida and Dawn R. and John D. Miller of Brooksville, Florida, three
grand-nephews and three grand-neices including Cinda and John Pixler of New Philadelphia. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents John and Geneva Schweitzer. A public memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 5, at 2 p.m. in the First Church of the Nazerine at New Philadelphia. Private burial will take place in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Sandyville. There are no calling hours."4 She was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Sandyville, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.1,2

Schweitzer and Geneva Belle Ellis.1 William Griffith Murphy married Anna Ellis Schweitzer, daughter of John C. Schweitzer and Geneva Belle Ellis.1 William Griffith Murphy died on 23 June 1995 at Brooksville, Hernando County, Florida, at age 81.1,2 His obituary read, "William G. Murphy, 81, of Brooksville, Fla., formaly of New Philadelphia and Strasburg, died June 23 in his home following a long illness. He was born in Cannonsburg, Pa., Nov. 1, 1913, to the late William Murphy and Margaret Murphy McNutt. He was an avid golfer most of his life and was a member of the Brookridge Golf Assn. He was a coal miner for several years, retiring in 1976 from Nickles Bakery where he was a foreman. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Anna E. (Schweitzer) Murphy; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd O. (Georgia "Boots") Didinger of Thornton, Colo., Mrs. Clifford (Glenna) Love of Clearwater, Fla., and Mrs. John D. (Dawn) Miller of New Philadelphia; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Clara Anderson) Hoffee of Uhrichsville, and Flora Durning of Dennison; two brothers, Rev. Francis McNutt of Mineral City and Rev. Frank McNutt of Malvern. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Memorial Services will be held Friday, July 7, in First Moravian Church at Dover at 11:30a.m. with Rev. Dr. Albert Frank officiating. Cremains will be buried at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at the family's convenience. Gifts in his memory may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 12130 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, Fla. 34613."3 He was buried at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens, Dover, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.1,2
