Survivng are his wife, Goldie; 12 sons, Donald, Carrollton; Edgar, Frank and Orville, all of Canton; Samuel Jr., Waynesburg; Henry, Magnolia; Larry, Newark; Harvey, Gary, Floyd, Micheal and Joseph, all at home: seven daughters, Mrs. Ernest Hudnell, Albany; Mrs. Bernard
Poling, Waynesburg; Mrs. Robert Beckett, Dellroy; Mrs. Charles Nicholas, Canton; Mrs. Eugene Smithley, Mineral City; Elizabeth and Linda, at home; 63 grandchildren; and a sister Desta Marshall, Columbus. His first wife, Ina, died in 1936. Services will be at 8 p.m. DST Friday at McCreery-Finefrock Funeral Home, Magnolia with the Rev. Eldon Shaner officiating. Graveside services will be held at the Hebbardsville Cemetery Saturday at noon."² He was buried at Cumberland Cemetery, Hebardville, Athens County, Ohio.¹
