He had been employed at the Eureka Boiler Works for 46 years prior to his retirement about three years ago. He was a member of the Order of Runeberg. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Legg; cousins, Mrs. DeEtte Ireland, Galt; Mrs. Meryl Hart, Galt; Mrs. Rue MacMillan, Santa Clara; and Mrs. Beryl McCaughey, San Jose. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the Pierce Mortuary. Dr. Roscoe C. Smith will officiate. Internment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery."1
