     Rufus Findlay Palmer was born on 21 May 1874 at Hocking County, Ohio.1 He was the son of William Palmer and Eliza McCune.1 Rufus Findlay Palmer married Mary May Patton, daughter of William Owen Patton and Elizabeth Ellen Helman, on 17 November 1909 at Hocking County, Ohio.1 Rufus Findlay Palmer died on 5 December 1940 at Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, at age 66.1
