William Vincent Lewis Marconi1

William Vincent Lewis Marconi was born on 12 April 1926 at Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.1 He was the son of Santo Marconi and Anna S. Palladino.1 William Vincent Lewis Marconi married Martha Joan Morton, daughter of Clair Robert Morton Sr. and Claire Elizabeth McNutt, on 13 December 1969.1 William Vincent Lewis Marconi died on 16 February 1992 at VA Medical Center, Buffalo, Erie County, New York, at age 65.1 His obituary read, "William V.L. Maarconi, 65, of Tonawanda, Sunday (February 16, 1992) at V. A. Medical Center in Buffalo. Born in Watertown, N.Y. he had been a resident of the Tona-
wandas for the past thirty years and was the son of the late Santo and Anna Marconi and father of the late Jack Alan Hamaker, Robbie and Kenneth Hamaker and brother of the late Angelo Marconi. Mr. Marconi had been employed at Columbus McKinnon Corp. for fifteen years, retiring in 1976 and was a U.S.
Navy vetern of W.W.II. He was a member of Steven Sikora Post #1322 American Legion and was a 1981 graduate of N.C.C.C. He is survived by his wife, Martha J. (nee Morton) Marconi: three children, Larry D. Hamaker of Houston, Tx. Donald E. Hamaker of Denver, Co. and Mrs. D. (Kevin) Kavanagh of Tonawanda; seven grandchildren, Justin Aaron Hamaker of Houston Tx., Mark, Gene, Colby III, Timmy, Tony and Tommy all of Tonawanda; brother of Carm (Betty) Marconi of Cheektowaga, Orlando Marconi of Watertown, N.Y., Claudia Kiebzak of Buffalo, Perry (Carm) Bocciolatt of Watertown, Vic (Lori) Marconi of Buffalo and Nazareno (Angie) Marconi of Watertown; also survived by many neices, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Thursday only from 1-5 p.m. at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., Morgan and Williams Sts., Tonawanda.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service which will be held at Community Christian Church, 75-17th Ave. in North Tonawanda, Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The Rev. Ted W. Cadwallader will officiate. Burial will be Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Pa Flowers are gratefully declined."2 He was buried at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.2
