     Rowland Armstrong was born on 23 February 1790 at Franklin County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of David Armstrong and Sarah Harris. Rowland Armstrong married Jane Donnell on 16 June 1816 at Pennsylvania.1 Rowland Armstrong died on 8 March 1864 at Butler County, Pennsylvania, at age 74.1

     David Armstrong was born on 25 March 1798 at Slippery Rock Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania.2 He was the son of David Armstrong and Sarah Harris.1 David Armstrong married Jane Jack, daughter of Benjamin Jack and Mary McNees, on 11 January 1821.1 David Armstrong died on 31 December 1840 at age 42.1
