Lois Louella Dilliner1,2

F, b. 3 January 1915, d. 7 April 1916
Lois Louella Dilliner was born on 3 January 1915.1 She was the daughter of Rudolph Dilliner and Esta Viola Steele.1 Lois Louella Dilliner died on 7 April 1916 at age 1.1 Her obituary read, "Lois Luella, little daughter of Rudy and Estie Dilliner, was born January 3, 1915, and died at the home of her parents at Bethel, April 7, 1916, age 1 year, three months and four days. She was ill two weeks and all that loving parents, friends and the skill of physicians could do was of no avail. The one who gave saw best to take her to himself, and now she is in the paradise of God and yet your child. Those little feet will never be weary on life's hard road; that little heart will always be pure, unharmed by sin; she is free from pain and death for ever more -- safe in the arms of Jesus. (Three stanza poem followed.)
On September 10, 1914, these young parents were bereaved of their first born child, Leyta, aged 1 year, 2 months and 24 days, and now the home is vacant of childish voices and who can know the sorrow of their hearts. On Sunday afternoon Bethel church was crowded to the utmost and words of comfort spoken by Rev. Tremain. The same beautiful songs were used as for the other little one and the little earth form was carried to the beautiful cemetery near by and so God giveth his beloved sleep."2 She was buried at Bethel Cemetery, Meredith Township, Cloud County, Kansas.2
