VanZant married Annie Elizabeth Ellen Williamson, daughter of James Curtis Williamson and America Belle Sprinkle, on 28 December 1910 at Highland County, Ohio.2 Rosco T. VanZant died on 15 February 1975 at Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio, at age 90.2 He His obituary read, "Roscoe T. VanZant, 90, died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday at highland District Hospital. He was a retired farmer living on Hillsboro Rt. 2. He was born in Jackson Township, Highland County, on Aug. 21, 1884, the son of Thomas VanZant and harriett Stanforth VanZant. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Nina Michael, Rt. 2; two grandsons, Carey VanZant, Rt. 6, and Daniel VanZant, Rt. 4, and four great great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rhoades-Edgington Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glenn Workman officiating and burial in Coss Cemetery near Belfast. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday."3 He was buried at Coss Cemetery, Jackson Township, Highland County, Ohio.3
