He was born April 26, 1897, in Highland County, the son of Enos and Elizabeth Store Van Zant. He is survived by his wife, Edith; one son, Bill Van Zant of Lake Charles, La; a stepson, Jim Stanforth of Greenville; two brothers, Mora of Seaman and Johnny of New York State; and a sister, Mrs. Goldie Webb of Springfield, O. Funeral services will be 2 P. M. Tuesday at K. K. Davis Funeral Home, Lynchburg, Rev. Robert Miller officiating, with burial at Prospect Cemetery. Friends were to call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 P. M. Monday."²

     John Delbert Gleason VanZandt was born on 11 August 1902 at Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio.² He was the son of Enos West VanZant and Sarah Elizabeth Storer.³ John Delbert Gleason VanZandt married Florence Christel Denny, daughter of William Elbert Denny and Ethel Dola Neff.² John Delbert Gleason VanZandt died on 2 July 1988 at Fairport, Monroe County, New York, at age 85.²

     Dewein Cleveland VanZant was born on 30 September 1894 at Belfast, Highland County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of Enos West VanZant and Sarah Elizabeth Storer.¹ Dewein Cleveland VanZant married Austa Mae Atwell, daughter of Casper Elias Atwell and Freelove Isadora "Tina" Boatman, on 30 January 1918 at Belfast County, Ohio. Dewein Cleveland VanZant died on 22 August 1964 at Adams, Adams County, Ohio, at age 69.¹

     Everett Guy VanZant was born on 15 August 1882 at Jackson Township, Highland County, Ohio.² He was the son of Thomas VanZant and Harriet Catharyn Stanforth.¹ Everett Guy VanZant married Sylvia Dell Inlow, daughter of Abraham Jackson Inlow and Zilpha Ann Moore, circa 1920.³ Everett Guy VanZant died on 9 August 1953 at Highland City, Highland County, Ohio, at age 70.²

     Rosco T. VanZant was born on 21 August 1884 at Ohio.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas VanZant and Harriet Catharyn Stanforth.¹ Rosco T. VanZant married Annie Elizabeth Ellen Williamson, daughter of James Curtis Williamson and America Belle Sprinkle, on 28 December 1910 at Highland County, Ohio.² Rosco T. VanZant died on 15 February 1975 at Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio, at age 90.² He His obituary read, "Roscoe T. VanZant, 90, died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday at highland District Hospital. He was a retired farmer living on Hillsboro Rt. 2. He was born in Jackson Township, Highland County, on Aug. 21, 1884, the son of Thomas VanZant and harriett Stanforth VanZant. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Nina Michael, Rt. 2; two grandsons, Carey VanZant, Rt. 6, and Daniel VanZant, Rt. 4, and four great great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rhoades-Edgington Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glenn Workman officiating and burial in Coss Cemetery near Belfast. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday."³ He was buried at Coss Cemetery, Jackson Township, Highland County, Ohio.³

     Burton B. VanZant was born on 4 December 1889 at Jackson Township, Highland County, Ohio.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas VanZant and Harriet Catharyn Stanforth.¹ Burton B. VanZant married Nellie Ruth Benson, daughter of Philip Young Benson and Mary A. Rediger, on 20 January 1912 at Knox County, Illinois.³ Burton B. VanZant died on 3 January 1957 at St. Marks Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah, at age 67.³

     Kitty Dell Hammond was born on 26 July 1877 at Brush Creek Township, Highland County, Ohio.² She married Charles Leonidas VanZant, son of Thomas VanZant and Harriet Catharyn Stanforth, on 12 February 1899 at Highland County, Ohio.¹ Kitty Dell Hammond died on 31 December 1899 at Marshall, Highland County, Ohio, at age 22.² She was buried at Pleasant View Cemetery, Marshall Township, Highland County, Ohio.³

     Noble VanZant was born on 25 May 1882 at Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio.^1,2,3 He was the son of Zachariah Noble VanZant and Mary Jane Ballentine.¹ Noble VanZant married Martha Grace Weaver, daughter of Jacob Franklin Weaver and Eliza Jane Payton, on 25 May 1904 at Peebles, Adams County, Ohio.³ Noble VanZant died on 17 January 1935 at Momence, Kankakee County, Illinois, at age 52.⁴ He was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado.²
