Buell and Elizabeth Whitney, on 10 August 1925 at Wauseon, Fulton County, Ohio.2 Myrtle Ann Ankney died on 16 October 1969 at Monterey, Monterey County, California, at age 76.1 She Her obituary read, "MRS. BERNARD BUELL, 76. Funeral services were held at the Beebe Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Bernard (Myrtle A.) Buell, 76, of 330 Olds Street who died last Friday in Monterey, Calif., while visiting her son. The Rev. Arthur Coldren officiated and burial was in the Mosherville Cemetery. Mrs. Buell was born in Latty, Ohio on April 13, 1893, the daughter of Samuel and Emma Grice Ankney. Before moving to Jonesville, she had lived in Hillsdale and had been a county resident since 1920. She was a member of the Hillsdale Grange No. 77, the Gay Extension Club, the Reading Golden Agers and the First Baptist Church of Hillsdale. Her husband Bernard to whom she was on August 10, 1925 in Wauseon, Ohio, died in 1966. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. L.A. (Lucille) Cameron of Hillsdale; a stepdaughter Mrs. Dale (Anna) Reppert of Reading; three sons, Leo Beckman of Quincy, Vern Beckman of Jonesville and Lyle Buell of Fort Ord, Calif; two stepsons, Otto Buell of Coldwater and Duane Buell of Allen; a sister mrs. Josie Monroe of Toledo, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren."2
