     Joseph Hunter Somers was born on 11 August 1908 at Boonville, Cooper County, Missouri.² He was the son of Alonzo Fisher Somers and Jessie Rusha.^1,2 Joseph Hunter Somers married Marguerite Evelyn Everly, daughter of Oliver Vinemma Everly and Claribel Willars, on 30 May 1941 at Quartzsite, LaPaz County, Arizona.² Joseph Hunter Somers died on 18 September 1979 at Sun City, Riverside County, California, at age 71.²

     Howard Haldeman Everley was born on 10 October 1883 at Bethel, Cloud County, Kansas.² He was the son of Simeon Oliver Everley and Martha Anna Haldeman.² Howard Haldeman Everley married Estella May Holtzman, daughter of Thomas B. Holtzman and Sarah Margaret Holbert.¹ Howard Haldeman Everley died on 27 December 1968 at Winchester, Jefferson County, Kansas, at age 85.²

     Laura May Everly was born on 28 July 1886 at Bethel, Cloud County, Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of Simeon Oliver Everley and Martha Anna Haldeman.¹ Laura May Everly married Joseph Martin Buckland, son of Thomas Buckland and Agnes Martin, on 4 November 1903 at Glasco, Cloud County, Kansas.² Laura May Everly died on 7 August 1948 at Concordia, Cloud County, Kansas, at age 62.¹

     Victor Coil Everly was born on 26 January 1891 at Bethel, Cloud County, Kansas.¹ He was the son of Simeon Oliver Everley and Martha Anna Haldeman.¹ Victor Coil Everly married Estelle Violet Steele, daughter of Francis Luther "Frank" Steele and Annie Melissa Roll, on 14 February 1912.² Victor Coil Everly died on 18 October 1947 at Colby, Thomas County, Kansas, at age 56.¹

     Loyal Leslie Everly was born on 26 July 1894 at Glasco, Cloud County, Kansas.¹ He was the son of Simeon Oliver Everley and Martha Anna Haldeman.¹ Loyal Leslie Everly married Hazel Pearl Steele, daughter of Francis Luther "Frank" Steele, on 29 July 1914 at Pottersburg, Lincoln County, Kansas.² Loyal Leslie Everly died on 18 June 1958 at Manhattan, Pottawatomie County, Kansas, at age 63.¹

     Marion Lee Everly was born on 23 May 1896 at Bethel, Cloud County, Kansas.¹ He was the son of Simeon Oliver Everley and Martha Anna Haldeman.¹ Marion Lee Everly married Mary Sylvia Driscoll, daughter of Joseph Kertland Driscoll and Harriet Luella Wright, on 6 November 1919 at Concordia, Cloud County, Kansas.² Marion Lee Everly died on 4 April 1961 at Glasco, Cloud County, Kansas, at age 64.¹

     Opal Floy Everly was born on 14 January 1898 at Bethel, Cloud County, Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of Simeon Oliver Everley and Martha Anna Haldeman.¹ Opal Floy Everly married Frank Raymond McCollough, son of Oscar Johnson McCollough and Mary Margaret Matthews, on 28 February 1919.² Opal Floy Everly died on 5 April 1962 at McCook, Red Willow County, Nebraska, at age 64.¹

     Meryl Gladys Everly was born on 7 May 1900 at Glasco, Cloud County, Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of Simeon Oliver Everley and Martha Anna Haldeman.¹ Meryl Gladys Everly married Andrew Clark Gray, son of Hugh Gray and Agnes u, on 14 May 1920 at Glasco, Cloud County, Kansas.² Meryl Gladys Everly died on 28 January 1985 at New Eagle, Washington County, Pennsylvania, at age 84.¹

     Estelle Violet Steele was born on 17 August 1894 at Glasco, Cloud County, Kansas.² She was the daughter of Francis Luther "Frank" Steele and Annie Melissa Roll.³ Estelle Violet Steele married Victor Coil Everly, son of Simeon Oliver Everley and Martha Anna Haldeman, on 14 February 1912.¹ Estelle Violet Steele died on 31 October 1994 at Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas, at age 100.¹

     Donald Franklin Everly was born on 7 August 1927 at Salina, Saline County, Kansas.¹ He was the son of Victor Coil Everly and Estelle Violet Steele.¹ Donald Franklin Everly died on 13 August 1999 at age 72.¹

     Agnes Victoria Everly was born circa 1914 at Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of Victor Coil Everly and Estelle Violet Steele.¹ Agnes Victoria Everly married Carl Wilbur Carrier, son of William E. Carrier and Grace L. Harris.² Agnes Victoria Everly died in 1998.²

     Alice G. Everly was born on 4 March 1915 at Elkhart, Morton County, Kansas.² She was the daughter of Victor Coil Everly and Estelle Violet Steele.¹ Alice G. Everly married Robert D. Ellegood on 2 September 1933 at Colby, Thomas County, Kansas.² Alice G. Everly died on 4 February 2015 at Oakley, Logan County, Kansas, at age 99.² Her obituary read, "Alice G. Ellegood was born March 4, 1915 in Elkhart, KS to Victor and Estelle (Steele) Everley. She completed her journey February 4, 2015 at the Logan County Manor. Her family moved from Elkhart to Salina, and then to Logan County, KS, where Alice graduated from Monument High School in 1933.
Shortly after graduation she married Robert Dwight Ellegood on September 2, 1933 in Colby. To this union three sons were born: Kenneth, Keith and Benjamin. Robert and Alice survived the dirty thirties by skinning and selling hides, from coyotes to skunks. They lived south of Monument, and moved to Oakley in 1941. Alice joined her husband in working for the Kansas Highway Department. They retired together to travel in the winter. They would load up the camper and spend the winters in warmer places. She enjoyed fishing and gardening, and just being outside as much as possible, working alongside her husband and her boys. She enjoyed her grandchildren and was known to them as “Ice Cream Grandma”. Her husband Robert died in 1984 and she continued to live in the house she designed and helped build until she had a stroke in 2008. She chose to move to the Manor and said she would make the best of it, and she did. She did not want to be a burden to her family. Alice was one of the sweetest, kindest persons you will ever meet. She treated all who knew her like family. She leaves her three sons: Kenneth and Beverly of Waldo, KS, Keith and Luellen of Oakley, and Ben and Donnette of Oakley; a sister, Norma Smith of Hutchinson, KS; 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of family and friends that will greatly miss her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; sisters: Ruth Wells (Bob), Agnes Carrier (Carl), and brother Donald Everly (Joan), a grandson, Kenton Ellegood; and a great granddaughter, Jocelyn Gallup. Alice Ellegood, 99, died February 4, 2015 at Logan County Manor, Oakley. She was born March 4, 1915 in Elkhart to Victor and Estelle Everley. Alice married Robert Ellegood on September 2, 1933 in Colby. She retired as an office assistant with the Kansas Department of Transportation. Preceded in death by husband Robert, brother Donald, sisters Ruth Wells and Agnes Carrier, a grandson, and a great granddaughter. Survivors: sons, Kenneth (Beverly) of Waldo, Keith (Luellen) and Ben (Donnette), all of Oakley; sister Norma Smith of Hutchinson; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and six great- great grandchildren. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Oakley Wesleyan Church with Pastor Clyde Graham officiating. Interment in the Oakley Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home. Memorials to Oakley Wesleyan Church and Barry Ellegood Transplant Fund in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 221, Oakley 67748."²

     Ruth Ann Everly was born on 8 October 1917 at Glasco, Cloud County, Kansas.^1,2 She was the daughter of Victor Coil Everly and Estelle Violet Steele.¹ Ruth Ann Everly married Eugene Deaver, son of Lawrence Edward Deaver and Anna Blau.³ Ruth Ann Everly died on 9 July 1963 at McPherson County, Kansas, at age 45.²

     Norma L. Everly was born circa 1924 at Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of Victor Coil Everly and Estelle Violet Steele.¹

     Isaiah McJunkin was born in 1828 at Butler County, Pennsylvania.¹ He was the son of David William McJunkin and Elizabeth Double.¹ Isaiah McJunkin married Rebecca Elisabeth Mead, daughter of Ezra Mead and Esther Rickey, on 20 May 1866 at Sedan, Morgan Township, Scioto County, Ohio.² Isaiah McJunkin died on 10 May 1913 at Bazine Township, Ness County, Kansas.¹

     Annie Melissa Roll was born on 24 January 1872 at Iowa.¹ She died on 27 January 1944 at Kansas at age 72.¹
