     Vera Douglas was born on 22 August 1895 at West Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of Reuben Douglas and Mary Jane Lewellen.¹ Vera Douglas married Lionel Albert "Onel" McKown, son of Anderson Monroe McKown and Ida Florence Short, in 1915 at Roane County, West Virginia.¹ Vera Douglas died on 24 February 1939 at age 43.¹

Gandee, in 1910 at Roane County, West Virginia.¹ Ivy Dulcie McKown died in January 1979 at Spencer, Roane County, West Virginia, at age 87.¹
