     John B. Flesher was born in 1810. She was the daughter of Andrew S. Flesher and Elizabeth Bibbee.

     Isaac O. McKown was born on 6 April 1831 at Jackson County, Virginia.¹ He was the son of Gilbert McKown and Lydia Flesher. Isaac O. McKown married Mary Margaret Slaughter, daughter of James C. Slaughter and Rachel u, on 9 August 1865 at Jackson County, Virginia.¹ Isaac O. McKown died on 23 August 1886 at Roanoke, Franklin County, Virginia, at age 55.¹

     Sarah McKown was born on 20 December 1827 at Virginia. She was the daughter of Gilbert McKown and Lydia Flesher. Sarah McKown married Esley Powers Stone, son of Elias S. Stone and Rebecca E. Kay, on 3 October 1850 at Jackson County, Virginia.¹ Sarah McKown died on 10 May 1902 at Conway, Faulkner County, Arkansas, at age 74.¹

     James McKown was born in 1828. He was the son of Gilbert McKown and Lydia Flesher.

     John L. McKown was born on 13 July 1837 at Milford Township, Knox County, Ohio. He was the son of Gilbert McKown and Lydia Flesher. John L. McKown died in 1867 at Jackson, Amelia County, Virginia.²

     Norman Dude McKown was born on 4 May 1840 at Mount Liberty, Knox County, Ohio. He was the son of Gilbert McKown and Lydia Flesher. Norman Dude McKown married first Rebecca Ann Miller, daughter of Joshua Miller and Samantha Runyan, on 4 March 1864 at Roane County, West Virginia. Norman Dude McKown married second Mary Matilda Miller, daughter of Samuel E. Miller and Elizabeth Swick, on 27 January 1894 at Roane County, West Virginia.¹ Norman Dude McKown died on 9 December 1927 at Roane County, West Virginia, at age 87. He was buried at Vandal Cemetery (now Wright Cemetery), Spencer, Roane County, West Virginia.

     Hiram F. McKown was born on 11 December 1819 at Jackson County, Virginia.² He was the son of Gilbert McKown and Lydia Flesher. Hiram F. McKown married Sarah Lewis on 27 April 1843 at Knox County, Ohio.^3,4 Hiram F. McKown married Sarah L. Kemp, daughter of George Kemp and Isabel Hughes, on 19 October 1867 at Defiance County, Ohio.⁴ Hiram F. McKown died on 27 February 1900 at Junction, Auglaize Township, Paulding County, Ohio, at age 80.³

     Celia McKown was born on 12 December 1821 at Jackson County, West Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of Gilbert McKown and Lydia Flesher. Celia McKown married William Obadiah Spellman on 9 October 1842 at Knox County, Ohio.¹ Celia McKown married Thomas B. O'Brien in 1856 at Jackson County, Virginia.¹ Celia McKown died in 1908 at Jackson County, West Virginia.¹

     Elizabeth Jane McKown was born on 23 February 1823 at Jackson County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Gilbert McKown and Lydia Flesher. Elizabeth Jane McKown married William Bonnet Flesher, son of Isaac N. Flesher and Elizabeth Bonnett, on 11 July 1844 at Jackson County, Virginia.² Elizabeth Jane McKown died on 9 January 1895 at Ravenswood, Jackson County, West Virginia, at age 71.¹

     Phebe McKown was born on 1 January 1829 at Mason, Fairfax County, Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of Gilbert McKown and Lydia Flesher. Phebe McKown died on 9 January 1895 at age 66.¹

     Ephraim McKown was born on 20 September 1844 at Cottageville, Jackson County, Virginia.² He was the son of Gilbert McKown and Lydia Flesher. Ephraim McKown married Mary Josephine Payne, daughter of Henry Payne and Editha Vandal, on 20 December 1866 at Roane County, West Virginia.² Ephraim McKown died on 29 October 1927 at Spencer, Roane County, West Virginia, at age 83.²

     Mary Elizabeth Flesher was born on 12 January 1795 at Harrison County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Andrew S. Flesher and Elizabeth Bibbee.

     Samuel B. McKown was born on 25 July 1792. He was the son of James McKown and Pheobe Casto.¹

     Edith McKown was born in 1793 at Greene Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania.¹ She was the daughter of James McKown and Pheobe Casto. Edith McKown married David C. Wright, son of Benjamin Wright and Sarah Elizabeth Casto, on 17 October 1817 at Mason, Madison County, Virginia.² Edith McKown died on 20 June 1885 at Gilman, Iroquois County, Illinois.¹
