     Ruth Augusta Iler was born on 24 December 1905 at Carroll County, Illinois.1 She was the daughter of Frank Iler and Sarah Barbara Smith.2 Ruth Augusta Iler married Edgar Levi Imel, son of James Riley Imel and Mary Colista Johnson, on 4 April 1924 at Freeport, Stephenson County, Illinois.1 Ruth Augusta Iler died in June 1977 at Milledgeville, Carroll County, Illinois, at age 71.1 She was buried at Chadwick Cemetery, Fair Haven Township, Carroll County, Illinois.3
