McNulty died on 17 November 2010 at Grove City, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, at age 85.1 Her obituary read, "Lois E. Cooper, 85, formerly of George Washington Road in Washington Township, died the afternoon of Nov. 17, 2010, at Trinity Living Center, Grove City. Lois was born in Plain Grove Township on Nov. 28, 1924, to Robert G. and Vida Lois Neely McNulty. She married Harold L. Cooper on Oct. 24, 1946. He died Aug. 29, 1997. She was a homemaker and a member of Plain Grove Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her sister, Helen Hammerschmidt and husband, Abe, of Volant; one brother, Wilbur "Wimp" McNulty and wife, Jean, of Volant; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Visitation will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, 1778 Perry Highway, Leesburg. A service will be conducted at 7 p.m. tomorrrow at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Dayton, former pastor of Plain Grove Presbyterian Church, and Pat Sawaya, chaplain of Trinity Living Center, will officiate. Burial will be Saturday morning in North Plain Grove Cemetery, Plain Grove Township."2 She was buried at North Plain Grove Presbyterian Cemetery, Plain Grove, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.2
