Stoddart married James Franklin Elder, son of George Walters Elder and Margaret Caroline McNutt, on 1 February 1898 at Garner, Hancock County, Iowa.2 Agnes P. Stoddart became James Homer (Zook) Elder's adoptive mother.3,4 Agnes P. Stoddart died in 1919 at Wisconsin.2
