Fry, 84, died at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Fry was born February 15, 1929 in New Waterford, OH, a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Conkle Kannal. Melva was a notary and prepared tax returns for many years. She also worked as a painter for Maxwell China. Her husband, Raymond Fry, whom she married November 30, 1954, died April 29, 1998. She is survived by a daughter, Jeanna Hepler of Sarasota, FL; a son, John Fry of Enon Valley, PA; six step-children; a sister, Ruth Anderson of Enon Valley, PA; a brother, Ray Kannal of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren, numerous step
grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Burial will follow in New Waterford Cemetery."2 She was buried at New Waterford Cemetery, New Waterford, Columbiana County, Ohio.2
