He was a retired instrument repairman with B & W, a maintenance man with EB McNitt Apartments of New Brighton for 15 years, a custodian at Faith Community Church and an active member of the Sons of the American Legion Posts #19 and #261. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Earl Ellefson and an infant sister, Doris. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Janet Chappell Ellefson; two sons, Bradley J. (Debbie) Ellefson, Chippewa and Brian M. (Bristal) Ellefson, New Brighton; a daughter, Judy L. (Mark) Ventresca, Girard; two brothers, Charles (Darlene) Ellefson and Robert (Chris) Ellefson; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Katie, Jessica, Michelle, Mallory, Brendin and Blakely; two step-grandchildren, Curtis and Justin and three great-grandchildren, Caden, Wyatt and Nolan. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the LUTTON BEAVER FALLS FUNERAL HOME, 1117 Fifth Ave., www.luttonfuneralhome.com, where prayers will be offered on Monday at 1 p.m. and a funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Faith Community Church (formerly First United Methodist Church). Pastor Chris D. Wright will be officiating. Interment will be at Sylvania Hills."3 He was buried at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.3
