His obituary read, "Thomas T. Coolidge of Dunnellon FL died on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Legacy House at Ocala, FL. Born in Hudson MA on January 1, 1913 residing in Massachusetts and Maine until he and his wife Ruth moved to Dunnellon FL in 1979. He was a dedicated member of Holy Faith Episcopal Church and affiliated with VFW 4864 of Citrus Springs, FL. Tom graduated from Bowdoin College, Brunswick ME in 1936. He was a decorated officer in World War II and retired from the Army Reserves as a Lt. Col. 1962. Tom was an Architectural Engineer in Worcester MA until his retirement the late 60’s. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Jackson Coolidge who died in 1999. He is survived by three sons George A. Coolidge of Massachusetts, Jack J. Coolidge of Arizona, and Thomas S. Coolidge of Florida; six grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 Saturday, January 28 at Holy Faith Episcopal Church, 19924 W Blue Cove Drive, Dunnellon FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Faith Episcopal Church."
