It is now known as McConnell's Mill, a part of a Pennsylvania state park. He died on 14 June 1872 at age 72. He was buried at Portersville United Presbyterian Cemetery, Portersville, Butler County, Pennsylvania.

     Harvey Nelson Snyder was born on 29 September 1846 at Brady Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania.2,3,4,5 He was the son of Zepheniah Bryan Snyder and Rachel Kennedy.6 Harvey Nelson Snyder married Frances E. "Fanny" Zeigler, daughter of Jesse R. Zeigler and Margaret Bell, in 1873.4,6 Harvey Nelson Snyder was one of the leading attorneys of Kittanning, one whose connection with matters of jurisprudence in Armstrong county has been long and honorable.6 He died on 21 December 1928 at Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, at age 82.4 His obituary read, "Harvey N. Snyder, nestor of the Armstrong County Bar, passed away at his home on Queen street Friday morning at six o'clock. Mr. Snyder was born September 29, 1846, in Brady township, Butler county. He was a son of Zephaniah Snyder, Sr., the founder of the Snyder family in Pennsylvania. Mr. Snyder attended public schools in his native township, later going to the academy at Prospect, Butler county and still later to Witherspoon Institute at Butler. Following this he began the study of law under the direction of Col John M. Thompson and was admitted to the Bar of Butler county for three years. Following his removal to Armstrong county Mr. Snyder was elected twice to the office of district attorney, first in 1891 and again in 1904. In 1873 Mr. Snyder married Frances E. Zeigler, of Mercer county, who preceeded him in death on last Easter morning. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. George W. Daugherty, Miss Mary Frances Snyder, Miss Marguerite Snyder, Homer H. Snyder, George Phillip Snyder, who was associated with his father in the practice of law, and Renard Z. Snyder."7 He was buried at Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.1

     Rachel Elzira Snyder was born on 7 December 1848 at Brady Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Zepheniah Bryan Snyder and Rachel Kennedy.5 Rachel Elzira Snyder married William Brandon Curry, son of Francis Curry and Jane G. Brandon, in 1874.6 Rachel Elzira Snyder died on 26 May 1916 at Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania, at age 67.4
