     Jeremiah McCourt was born on 15 May 1870 at Webster County, West Virginia.1 He was the son of James J. McCourt and Emeline Carpenter.1 Jeremiah McCourt died on 27 March 1955 at Richwood, Nicholas County, West Virginia, at age 84.1
