     Archie V. Sloan was born on 3 October 1924 at Knoxville, Ray County, Missouri.1 He was the son of Harvey Virgil Sloan and Iris Naomi McAdams.1 Archie V. Sloan died on 29 May 2004 at Lees Summit, Jackson County, Missouri, at age 79.1
