     Shirla Powell was born on 8 January 1905 at Calhoun County, West Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of Lonnie Leonidas Powell and Maria Mae Downs.¹ Shirla Powell married Evan McKown, son of Kearney F. McKown and Ella Myrtle Wetzel, on 30 March 1923 at Calhoun County, West Virginia.¹ Shirla Powell died on 12 April 1998 at Fayetteville, Fayette County, West Virginia, at age 93.¹

Lilly, son of Jesse Ray Lilly and Gustava Elizabeth Davis, in 1947 at Fayette County, West Virginia.³ Myrtle Lou McKown died on 11 June 2011 at Oak Hill, Fayette County, West Virginia, at age 83.¹

     Robert Evan McKown was born on 19 March 1930 at Millstone, Calhoun County, West Virginia.¹ He was the son of Evan McKown and Shirla Powell.² Robert Evan McKown married Betty Louise Hill, daughter of George Delmer Hill and Virgie Lee Holloway, in 1947 at Kanawha County, West Virginia.³ Robert Evan McKown died on 31 May 2016 at Fayetteville, Fayette County, West Virginia, at age 86.¹

Wright, son of James Madison Wright and Catherine Elizabeth Smith, on 4 June 1916 at Roane County, West Virginia.² Edna McKown died on 17 March 1921 at Roane County, West Virginia, at age 22.¹

     Ruth A. McKown was born on 29 December 1909 at Masion, Boone County, West Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of Kearney F. McKown and Ella Myrtle Wetzel.¹ Ruth A. McKown died on 6 April 1964 at Roane County, West Virginia, at age 54.¹
