Demmon, 68, of Ottumwa, formerly of Marshalltown, died Sunday, April 23, 2000. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Conrad United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michelle Williamson officiating. Burial will be in the Conrad Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 25 at johnston Funeral Home in Conrad, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established. She was born on May 3, 1931, in Conrad to J. Roland and Sylvia A. (Critser) Coulter. She graduated from Conrad High School in 1949. She was employed by the Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center as a patient relations coordinator. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marshalltown. Survivors include two sons, James (Jean) of Ottumwa and Wesley (Linda) of DeWitt; a daughter, Jennifer (Mrs. Roger) Lucas of Des Moines; a brother, Robert Coulter of Conrad; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister."3 She was buried at Conrad Cemetery, Conrad, Grundy County, Iowa.3
