Maude May Weber1

F, b. 4 January 1887, d. 20 December 1991
Maude May Weber was born on 4 January 1887 at Pontoosuc, Hancock County, Illinois.1 She was the daughter of Albert James Weber and Josephine Mary Kimes.1 Maude May Weber married Leland D. Millison, son of Elmer Millison and Alice Jane Brandon, on 16 June 1907 at Knox County, Missouri.1 Maude May Weber died on 20 December 1991 at Sedan, Chautauqua County, Kansas, at age 104.1 Her obituary read, "Maude May Weber was born in Pontoosuc, Hancock County, Illinois, on January 4, 1887, the second of five children born to Albert James Weber and Josephine ("Josie") Kimes Weber. Her parents were both from the Hancock County (Illinois) area, with her father Albert a native of Appanoose Township, and her mother Josie hailing from Pontoosuc. In addition to an older sister Rosalie ("Rosa"), Maude's siblings also included a younger sister Alice ("Allie") and two younger rothers, Roy and Clem. Albert and Josie Weber moved the family to the Hurdland area of Knox County, Missouri, in the 1890s. While in Missouri, in the mid-1900s, Maude met Leland ("Lee") D. Millison and they were married on June 16, 1907, in Knox County. Maude and Lee would eventually have two sons, Albert and Joseph, both born in Missouri. From Missouri, the family moved briefly to Oklahoma, and then ultimately settled in Chautauqua County, Kansas. There, on June 16, 1957, Maude and Lee celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with their sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren. Maude became a widow in August of 1962 upon the death of her husband, Lee. She lived another 29 years following Lee's death, celebrating her 104th birthday on January 4, 1991. She died in Sedan, Kansas, on December 20, 1991, and is buried with husband Lee in Greenwood Cemetery."1 She was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Sedan Township, Chautauqua County, Kansas.1
