Decker, 96, a lifelong resident of Connellsville, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born March 12, 1914, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Christopher and Mary E. (Clemmer) Decker. Wanda was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the class of 1933. Early on she was an office worker at the former Troutman's Department Store, in Connellsville, and later retired as a bank teller after 37 years having worked for the former Second National Bank, in Connellsville, which is now PNC Bank. She was a member of Connellsville Presbyterian Church. Wanda is survived by her brother, Harry Decker and wife, Anna Margaret, of Baden; her nieces and nephews, Robert Swartzwelder, of Wilmington, Del., Chris Decker, of Uniontown, Tom Decker, of Baden, Mary Martha Brown and Cathy Folk, both of Harrisburg, and Mary Beth Mooter, of Reynoldsville, Ohio; and several great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Wanda was predeceased by a sister, Emma Jean Swartzwelder; and two brothers, Robert W. and Warren M. Decker. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Suzanne Zampella officiating. Interment will be in the Hill Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Connellsville Presbyterian Church, 711 S. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, PA 15425, in memory of Wanda E. Decker."2 She was buried at Hill Grove Cemetery, Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.2
