Some time later his father's family moved to Prospect. T.J. Dodds has been a resident of the west for 42 and it is 32 years since he visited his old home. He has gained prominence in Iowa politics as a Democrat and was postmaster of his town two terms under President Cleveland.2 Thomas Jefferson Dodds died on 2 February 1904 at Davenport, Scott County, Iowa, at age 73.1
