     Anna Marie McNutt was born on 24 April 1912 at Perry County, Ohio.2,3,4 She was the daughter of Henry Bradford McNutt and Rosa Bell Gardner.1 Anna Marie McNutt married George Henry Martin Sr., son of Carl Coleman Martin and Myrtle Belle Newlun, on 8 January 1929.5,4 Anna Marie McNutt died on 20 November 2010 at Hennis Care Center, Dover, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, at age 98.4 Her obituary read, "Anna Marie Martin age 98, formerly of New Philadelphia, died Saturday evening, Nov. 20, 2010, with her family at her side, in Hennis Care Center at Dover following a period of declining health. A daughter of the late Henry and Rosie Belle Gardner McNutt, Anna was born at Perry County, Ohio on April 24, 1912. On Jan. 8, 1929, Anna married George H. Martin and together the couple reared ten children. As a couple, they celebrated 68 years of marriage prior to George's passing on May 4, 1997. Anna spent the majority of her adult life as a caretaker for her family ensuring every member was always well cared for. She also enjoyed working in the flower gardens which surrounded her house and going out to eat with family and friends. Additionally, she was a long-time member of the First Assembly of God Church at New Philadelphia. Anna leaves behind seven children, Albert "Gene" Martin of Brightwood, Dwight (companion, Ethel Quillen) Martin, Donna Linard, all of New Philadelphia, Doris (Jim) Haas and Ruth Martin all of Dover, George (Toni) Martin, Jr. of Green, and Jimmy (Christy) Martin also of New Philadelphia; a daughter-in-law, Judy Martin of New Philadelphia and a son-in-law, Jerry Zurcher of Dover. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, numerous great-
grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters; two sons; Edgar and Gerald Martin; a daughter, Charlene Zurcher; two daughters-in-law, Patricia and Mildred Martin and two sons-in-law, Clarence "Sonny" Martin and Carl "Gene" Linard. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Pastor Larry Fletcher will lead a funeral service celebrating Anna's life in the funeral home's chapel on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. Burial in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia will follow. Those unable to attend may send the family personal condolences by signing the online guest registry located on the funeral home's website. Gerald Dean Martin1

     Gerald Dean Martin was born on 29 November 1937 at New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.1 He was the son of George Henry Martin Sr. and Anna Marie McNutt.1 Gerald Dean Martin died on 12 August 2009 at at his home, New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, at age 71.1 His obituary read, "Gerald Dean Martin, age 71, of New Philadelphia
died early Wednesday, August 12, 2009, in his home with his family at his side. A son of Marie (McNutt) Martin and the late George Martin, Gerald was born in New Philadelphia on Nov. 29, 1937. From 1955 to 1958, Gerald served with the United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Nellis Air Force Base at Las Vegas, Nev., and Indian Springs Air Force Base, also in Nevada. During his enlistment, Gerald served as part of the Air Police Squadron No 3595. On June 16, 1968, Gerald married the former Judy Ferrell and together they raised four children. Gerald was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and
working in his vegetable garden. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes and attending dog races. Gerald was also very handy at fixing broken items around the house and could most often find a use for many items which others may discard. In addition to his mother and wife of more than 40 years, Gerald is survived by a daughter, Crystal Martin, and three sons, Erik Martin and Dean (Dena) Martin, all of Las Vegas, Nev., and David Martin of Rohnert Park, Calif; four brothers, Gene (Millie) Martin, Dwight Martin and Jimmy (Christy) Martin, all of New Philadelphia and George (Toni) Martin Jr of Uniontown, O; and four sisters, Donna Linard of New Philadelphia, Doris (Jim) Haas, Ruth (Sonny) Martin and Charlene (Jerry) Zurcher, all of Dover. Eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren complete the family. In addition to his father, Gerald was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Edgar and Pat Martin, and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, from 9a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia. Pastor Jim Lewis will lead a service celebrating Gerald's life in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Those unable to attend are encouraged to send the family condolences by visiting the funeral home's online guest registry.
