     Andrew Richard Mizner was born on 23 June 1831 at Trumbull County, Ohio.2,3 He was the son of Elijah W. Mizner and Anne Brown.1 Andrew Richard Mizner married Martha Ann West, daughter of William West and Mary Freeman, on 4 September 1856 at Rock Island County, Illinois.4,5,6 Andrew Richard Mizner enlisted on the Union side for the Civil War as a private on 21 Aug 1862, then enlisted in Co. I, 126th IL Infantry on 04 Sep 1862. He mustered out on 12 Jul 1865 at Pine Bluff, AR. He filed for a pension 17 Feb 1880, and certificate #374656 was issued. His widow filed for a pension on 2 Dec 1912 but it was not issued. He died on 25 November 1912 at Viola, Mercer County, Illinois, at age 81.1 He was buried at Viola Cemetery, Viola, Mercer County, Illinois.3
