     John Bailey was born on 24 March 1855 at Mill Run, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.^1,2,3 He was the son of James Riley Bailey and Mary Pauline "Polly" White.¹ John Bailey married Ella G. Davis, daughter of Solomon Davis and Rebecca Dull.³ John Bailey died on 4 August 1916 at Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, at age 61.³ His obituary read, "John Bailey, 61 years old, a resident of Connellsville for the past 22 years, died at his home in Queen street yesterday afternoon at 3.30. He had been ill for the past two years, and confined to his home for several months past. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock from the First Baptist Church. Rev. Wilbur Nelson, the pastor, will officiate. Interment will be made in Hill Grove cemetery. Mr. Bailey was born in Mill Run, the son of James R. and Polly White Bailey. About 22 years ago he came to Connellsville and entered the employ of Dull & Company, with whom he remained until forced to give up active work on account of failing health. He married Miss Ella G. Davis, who died 13 years ago. Mr. Bailey is survived by two children, Charles G. Bailey and Miss Lulu Bailey. He was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church and took a very active interest in its affairs."³ He was buried at Hill Grove Cemetery, Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.³

     Rebecca White Bailey was born on 19 March 1857 at Mill Run, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.² She was the daughter of James Riley Bailey and Mary Pauline "Polly" White.¹ Rebecca White Bailey married Albert O. Shearer, son of Daniel Merkel Shearer and Emily Brown, on 25 February 1875.² Rebecca White Bailey died on 5 October 1941 at Sycamore, Greene County, Pennsylvania, at age 84.²

     Ann Bailey was born on 17 January 1861 at Pennsylvania.¹ She was the daughter of James Riley Bailey and Mary Pauline "Polly" White.¹ Ann Bailey married Wilson King Brooks, son of George W. Brooks and Hannah King, on 14 March 1887 at Fayette County, Pennsylvania.² Ann Bailey died on 14 January 1941 at Scottdale, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, at age 79.² She was buried at Scottdale Cemetery, Scottdale, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.³

Young and Lydia E. Richards, in 1892.¹ Margaret Bailey died on 24 August 1952 at Oregon at age 84.¹

     Roscoe Justin Young was born on 17 April 1859 at Camden, Knox County, Maine.² He was the son of John W. Young and Lydia E. Richards.² Roscoe Justin Young married Margaret Bailey, daughter of Samuel White Bailey and Christeana Dinah Dull, in 1892.¹ Roscoe Justin Young died on 11 December 1945 at Glenn, Siskiyou County, California, at age 86.¹
