     Anna Maria Burkholder was born in 1776 at Georges Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Jacob Burkholder and Barbara Brenneman.1 Anna Maria Burkholder married Joseph Showalter, son of Ulrich Saunders Showalter and Susannah Watterson, on 18 May 1799 at Rockingham County, Virginia.1 Anna Maria Burkholder died on 12 May 1865 at Smithfield, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.1 She was buried at Pleasant View IOOF Cemetery, Smithfield, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
