     Genevieve Magnolina Carben was born on 2 January 1924 at East Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Francis Victor Carben and Margaret Amelia Ritzert.1 Genevieve Magnolina Carben married Loyal Clifford Fisher, son of Horace Franklin Fisher and Anna Mary Double, on 26 June 1946 at North Oakland, Butler County, Pennsylvania.1 Genevieve Magnolina Carben died on 31 March 2013 at Butler Memorial Hospital, Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania, at age 89.2 Her obituary read, "Genevieve M. Fisher, 89, of North Oakland, Chicora, died unexpectedly Sunday in the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital. She was born in East Butler on Jan. 2, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Francis and Margaret Ritzert Carben. Genevieve worked for Bantam Jeep, Butler, during World War II, where she was a government inspector. She then worked for A & W Rootbeer on Chicora Road. For a time, she worked in the Hostess Shoppe at Butler Memorial Hospital and then worked at the St. Wendelin School cafeteria until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, Carbon Center. She is survived by her husband, Loyal "Cliff" Fisher, who she married June 25, 1946 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, North Oakland; her daughter, Marcella "Sally" Fisher of Chicora; her son, Edward Fisher, and friend, Jana Rodgers, of Chicora; her stepdaughter, Aubrie Rodgers of Butler; her sister-in-law Edith Carben of Chicora; her grandchildren, Beverly Gould, Cliff Gould, Michelle (Bryon) Webb, Larry (Andrea) Fisher, Lisa (Geoff) Warheit, Fay Fisher, Edward Fisher, and Rena Phoebe Fisher; her great-grandchildren, Taylor Fisher, Deagon Warheit, Landon Fisher, and Catelynn Fisher; her step-great-grandchildren, Damon Rodgers and Aleigha Rodgers; and several nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her sons, Joseph Fisher and Larry "King" Fisher; her brother, Joseph Carben; and her sister, Henretta Fisher. FISHER-Friends of Genevieve M. Fisher, who passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora. A celebration of life will be held with a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, 210 St. Wendelin Road, Carbon Center, with the Rev. Matt McClain, pastor, officiating and concelebrated by the Rev. Harry Bielewicz nd the Rev. Steve Neff. Burial will follow in St. Wendelin Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations be made to St. Wendelin School Fund in Genevieve's name to St. Wendelin School, 210 St. Wendelin Road, Butler, PA 16002."2 She was buried at St. Wendelin Catholic Church Cemetery, Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.2

     Larry George Charles Fisher was born on 14 August 1951 at Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Loyal Clifford Fisher and Genevieve Magnolina Carben.1 Larry George Charles Fisher died on 8 July 2009 at Butler Memorial Hospital, Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania, at age 57.2 His obituary read, "Larry G. "King" Fisher, 58, of North Oakland, Chicora, died unexpectedly at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday in Butler Memorial Hospital of an apparent heart attack following surgery.
He was born in Butler, Aug. 14, 1951, the son of L.C. "Cliff" and Genevieve Carben Fisher. He owned and operated Fisher's Auto Body in North Oakland for 30 years. He was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, Carbon Center, and the Loyal Order of the Moose of Chicora. An outdoorsman, he was a hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Surviving are a son, Larry Fisher and his wife, Andrea, of Butler; a daughter, Lisa Warheit and her husband, Geoff, of Butler; three grandchildren, Taylor Warheit, Deagan Warheit and Landen Fisher; his parents, L.C. "Cliff" and Genevieve Carben Fisher of Chicora; a sister, Sally Fisher of Chicora Road, Chicora; a brother, Ed Fisher of Chicora; eight nieces and nephews; and a great-niece. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph C. Fisher, who died Jan. 22, 1999.
FISHER - Friends of Larry G. "King" Fisher, who died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets in Chicora. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, 210 St. Wendelin Road, Carbon Center, Butler, with the Rev. Steven Neff, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Wendelin Cemetery."2 He was buried at St. Wendelin Catholic Church Cemetery, Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.2
