     Mary Josephine Nicholas was born on 1 August 1927 at Clay, Clay County, West Virginia.2,3,4 She married Edgar Chapman McNutt, son of Samuel Chapman McNutt and Ina Belle Hudnell, on 29 September 1951.1 Mary Josephine Nicholas died on 4 April 2013 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center, Canton, Stark County, Ohio, at age 85.4 Her obituary read, "Mary J. McNutt 85, of Folsam Rd., Carrollton died early Thursday morning, April 4, 2013, in Aultman Compassionate Care Center in Canton following a brief illness.
Born Aug. 1, 1927, in Clay, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late General Custer and Hollie Drake Nicholas. She was a
member of Baxter's Ridge United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Donna (Tom) Hanna of Carrollton; two granddaughters, Patricia Hanna of Carrollton, and Tracey
(Shawn) Hurley of Sunnyvale, Calif; a sister, Fannie (John) Fiocchi of Vineland, N.J; and a brother, R. Lloyd (Evelyn) Nicholas of Carrollton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar, whom she married Sept. 28, 1951, and who passed away Nov. 11, 1995; and three brothers. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 9 at 1 p.m. in Baxter's Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Wallace Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Baxter's Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Tuesday from noon until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in
Mary's name may be made to Baxter's Ridge United Methodist Church, 4006 Jade Rd., Carrollton, OH 44615. Mary's services are under the care and guidance of Sweeney-Dodds
Funeral Home of Carrollton."4 She was buried at Baxters Ridge Cemetery, New Harrisburg, Carroll County, Ohio.3
