He was a member of Methodist church at Hemlock. Surviving are his widow, Hulda; three sons, Elmer of Glouster, Frank of the East Sparta-Canton rd and Roy at home; Five daughters, Mrs. Carrie Acker of Murray City, Mrs. Almeda Thorp of Trumbull, Mrs. Sylvia Osmon of Massillon, Mrs. Hylda Nohl of Columbus and Mrs. May Meadows of Canton; 27 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother and two sisters. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the McCreery parlors at East Sparta in charge of Rev. J.A. Hopkins. Burial will be in Melsheimer cemetery. Friends may call at the parlors after 2 p.m. Saturday."3 He was buried at Melscheimer Cemetery, Pike Township, Stark County, Ohio.2
