     George Delbert Thompson was born on 9 December 1921 at Mill Point, Pocahontas County, West Virginia.1 He was the son of George Grover Thompson and Nannie Georgia Rose.1,2 George Delbert Thompson married Jacoba Margaret Carpenter, daughter of Floyd Jackson Carpenter and Maude Sea Adkison, in 1944 at Pocahontas County, West Virginia.1 George Delbert Thompson died on 26 September 2002 at age 80.1
