     George Howard Pugh was born on 2 August 1915 at Newell, Hancock County, West Virginia.1 He was the son of George Washington Pugh and Pearl Edna Parsons.1 George Howard Pugh married Mary Alice O'Kane, daughter of Charles O'Kane and Alice Duffy, in 1936 at Ohio County, West Virginia.2 George Howard Pugh died on 10 July 1978 at Beaver Falls, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, at age 62.1
