     Charles Willard Herb was born on 5 April 1915 at Shamokin, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.3 He was the son of Charles Raymond Herb and Bertha E. Feaster.4 Charles Willard Herb married Dorothy June Updegrove, daughter of Harry Ellsworth Updegrove and Jennie Adaline Dockey, in December 1944.1 Charles Willard Herb died on 31 October 1972 at Trevorton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, at age 57.4
