     Margaret Evelyn Stewart was born on 7 March 1887 at Benwood, Marshall County, West Virginia.² She was the daughter of John Perry F. Parker and Rebecca Catherine Fuller Stewart.² Margaret Evelyn Stewart married LeRoy Mardis, son of Martin Luther Mardis and Harriet Leona Jackman, on 10 February 1909.^2,3 Margaret Evelyn Stewart died on 26 December 1969 at New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, at age 82.¹ Her obituary read, "Mrs. Margaret E. Mardis, 92, of 213 E. Fairmont Ave., the former Margaret Evelyn Stewart, died at 2 p.m. yesterday in the Jameson Memorial Hospital after a seven-month illness. She was born in Benwood, W. Va., March 7, 1877, to the late Perry Parker and Rebecca Katherine Fuller Stewart. She was married on Feb. 10, 1909, to LeRoy Mardis, who died in 1958. Surviving are two sons, L. Stewart of New Castle and Earl L. of Pulaski RD 1, and three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters and four brothers. Friends will be received at the John R. Hodge Funeral Home, 127 E. Wallace Ave., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home by the Rev. Bert McCormick of First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Castle View Burial Park."³

     Earl Leroy Mardis was born on 7 August 1912 at Kings County, California.¹ He was the son of LeRoy Mardis and Margaret Evelyn Stewart.¹ Earl Leroy Mardis died on 17 March 1997 at Lake County, Florida, at age 84.²

     Claribelle Flynn was born on 22 January 1915 at New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Festus Michael Flynn and May Crocker.³ Claribelle Flynn married Luther Stewart Mardis, son of LeRoy Mardis and Margaret Evelyn Stewart, circa June 1937 at Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.¹ Claribelle Flynn died on 31 August 2008 at Monroeville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 93.³

     Festus Michael Flynn was born on 9 April 1878 at England.¹ He died on 29 December 1965 at Pennsylvania at age 87.¹

     May Crocker was born on 12 September 1882 at Pennsylvania.¹ She died on 31 March 1965 at Pennsylvania at age 82.¹

     Mary Frances "Fay" Burson was born on 10 May 1883 at Massilon, Stark County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of David S. Burson and Mary A. Black.² Mary Frances "Fay" Burson married Earle Jackman Mardis, son of Martin Luther Mardis and Harriet Leona Jackman, on 24 December 1902 at Columbiana County, Ohio.¹ Mary Frances "Fay" Burson and Earle Jackman Mardis were divorced.³ Mary Frances "Fay" Burson died on 9 January 1960 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, at age 76.¹

     David S. Burson was born in 1855 at Pennsylvania.¹ He died on 28 October 1896 at Ohio.¹

     Mary A. Black was born in March 1859 at Pennsylvania.¹

     Augustus Moffitt Ward was born on 14 January 1864 at Arkansas.¹ He died on 7 March 1936 at Arkansas at age 72.¹

     Verna Louise Conner was born on 15 March 1890 at Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Conner and Alice Clementine Benbrook.² Verna Louise Conner married Paul Lester Mardis, son of Martin Luther Mardis and Harriet Leona Jackman, on 20 February 1918 at Washington County, Arkansas.¹ Verna Louise Conner died on 16 March 1969 at Hendersonville, Henderson County, North Carolina, at age 79.¹

     Thomas Jefferson Conner was born on 6 July 1861 at Arkansas.¹ He died on 24 May 1934 at age 72.¹

     Alice Clementine Benbrook was born on 4 November 1860 at Arkansas.¹ She died on 5 October 1936 at Arkansas at age 75.¹

     Conner Marie Mardis was born on 21 December 1918 at Pennsylvania.¹ She was the daughter of Paul Lester Mardis and Verna Louise Conner.¹ Conner Marie Mardis died on 13 March 2010 at Hillsborough County, Florida, at age 91.¹

     Thomas Earl Mardis was born on 30 May 1921 at Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas.¹ He was the son of Paul Lester Mardis and Verna Louise Conner.¹ Thomas Earl Mardis died on 7 January 2011 at Orlando, Orange County, Florida, at age 89.¹

     Thomas Henry Degler was born on 16 January 1862 at Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.¹ He was the son of Benneville S. Degler and Hannah Kantner.¹ Thomas Henry Degler married Nancy Elizabeth Marlan, daughter of John Thomas Marlan and Mary Ann Bailey, on 3 June 1881 at Fort Recovery, Mercer County, Ohio.¹ Thomas Henry Degler died on 26 March 1934 at Bushnell, Kimball County, Nebraska, at age 72.¹
