     Robert Luther Morrow was born on 28 May 1920 at West Liberty, Butler County, Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of Willis Leroy Morrow and Clara Melissa Smith.1,2 Robert Luther Morrow married Maude Amanda Armstrong, daughter of Watson William Armstrong and Elizabeth Mae Patterson, on 19 July 1946 at St. Marks Rectory, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.1,2 Robert Luther Morrow died on 28 October 1968 at New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, at age 48.3 His obituary read, "Robert L. Morrow, 908 East Washington St., New Castle, formerly of Slippery Rock, North Liberty and Plain Grove, was dead on arrival last Monday at Jameson Memorial Hospital, New Castle. He was 48. Mr. Morrow was employed as an oiler on a mobile crane for the New Castle Duntile Co., a contacting firm, and was working near a truck being loaded at the site of the demolition of a house. He went around the truck to put a block under a wheel when the truck got stuck and its wheels started to spin. The truck driver, who had not seen him, gave the truck extra power and the truck lunged forward, hitting Morrow. He suffered a crushed abdomen and pelvis, and fractures of both legs. Born May 28, 1920, in West Liberty, Mr. Morrow was a son of William L. and Clara Smith Morrow. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He leaves his widow, Maude Armstrong Morrow; a daughter, Sandra, at home; his mother, Mrs. Clara Morrow, Slippery Rock; six brothers, Raymond Morrow, Ellwood City; Lawrence, Slippery Rock; Clyde and Arthur, both of New Castle; Leroy, Grove City, and Kenneth, Canton, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. J. M. Kennedy and Mrs. Henry Koester, both of Slippery Rock, and Mrs. John Grindel, Canton, Ohio. A son preceded him in death. Service at 2 p.m. Thursday was conducted at Uber Funeral Home, Slippery Rock, with the Rev. Richard Hawke, pastor, Slippery Rock United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in West Liberty Cemetery."1 He was buried at West Liberty Cemetery, West Liberty, Butler County, Pennsylvania.3
