     Walter Weaver was born. He was the son of Humphrey Wever and Joyce verch ap Llewellyn Jenkin.¹ His descendents changed the name to Weaver, thus emphasizing their separation from the main Welsh line which continued to use the original form -- Wever. Some have thought that he married a Welsh woman and his descendents did not care to advertise the fact.¹

     Humphrey Wever was born. He was the son of (?) Ieuan.¹ His first name may have come from the Bohuns, a celebrated family of Norman lords, who flourished at that time and who had at least five generations in succession names Humphrey.¹

     Jessie Florence Stevenson was born on 21 June 1889 at Pennsylvania.¹ She was the daughter of Jesse Warner Stevenson and Mary Hannah Double.¹ Jessie Florence Stevenson died on 18 December 1949 at Versailles Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 60.¹

     (?) Ieuan was born circa 1252.¹ He was the son of Madoc.¹ In 1277, when he was about twenty-five, the Welsh were at war with the English and it was not until 1283 that Wales was finally subdued. It is probable that Ieuan took an active part in these wars. For thirty generations his ancestors had only a single Welsh name. The Welsh people had no surnames until much later; and yet he named his son Humphrey Wever. There is no such word or name as Wever in the Welsh language, and in English it is used only as the family name of the Wevers of Cheshire, many of whom settled in Shropshire where Ieuan lived. Humphrey's son Walter, and perhaps Humphrey himself, used the coat-of-arms and also the motto of the Wevers of Cheshire. These considerations make it quite certain that Ieuan married a daughter of one of the Cheshire Wevers who lived in Shropshire and that their son was named for her family.¹

     Robert Ryan FitzRichard de Latham was born in 1224 at Lathan, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of Robert Richard de Latham and Amicia de Alfreton. Robert Ryan FitzRichard de Latham died in 1325.

     Katherine de Knowselegh was born in 1252 at Lathan, Yorkshire, England. She was the daughter of Sir Thomas de Knowselegh and Katherine de Knowselegh.

     Thomas de Latham was born in 1301. He was the son of Robert Ryan FitzRichard de Latham and Katherine de Knowselegh. Thomas de Latham died on 14 September 1370.

     Philip Andrew de Latham was born on 7 July 1277 at Congleton, Chestershire, England. He was the son of Robert Ryan FitzRichard de Latham and Katherine de Knowselegh. Philip Andrew de Latham died in 1377.

     Joan de Latham was born circa 1296. She was the daughter of Robert Ryan FitzRichard de Latham and Katherine de Knowselegh.

     Sir Thomas de Knowselegh was born in 1226 at Yorkshire, England.

     Robert Richard de Latham was born in 1198 at Lancaster, Lancastershire, England. He was the son of Richard de Latham and Alice Nelson. Robert Richard de Latham died before 1286 at Lancaster, Lancastershire, England.

     Amicia de Alfreton was born on 26 March 1200 at Lancaster, Lancastershire, England. She was the daughter of Robert de Alfreton. Amicia de Alfreton died on 11 November 1250 at age 50.

     Robert de Alfreton was born in 1174 at Lancaster, Lancastershire, England. He was the son of Robert Fitz Ralph.

     Richard de Latham was born on 31 March 1145 at Dalton, Lancaster, England. He was the son of Robert Fritzhenry de Latham and Emma de Grelle. Richard de Latham died in 1220.
