Alfonso II, 'The Chaste', King of Aragon died on 25 April 1196 at Perpignan, Pyrenees-Orientales, France.

     Sancha Alfonsez Queen of Aragon was born on 21 September 1154 at Toledo, Castile, Spain. She was the daughter of Alfonso VII, King of Castile, Leon & Galicia and Ryksa Princess of Silesia. Sancha Alfonsez Queen of Aragon married Alfonso II, 'The Chaste', King of Aragon, son of Ramon Berenger IV, Prince of Aragon and Petronila I, Queen of Aragon, between 18 January 1174 and 1175 at Zaragoza, Spain. Sancha Alfonsez Queen of Aragon died on 9 November 1208 at Monasterio de Jaen, Spain, at age 54.

     Thomas I, Count of Savoy was born between 20 March 1176 and 1177 at Carbonierres, Savoy, France. He was the son of Humbert III, 'le Saint', Count of Savoy and Beatrix de Vienne.
