     Ruth Elaine Pattersen was born on 1 June 1924 at Slippery Rock, Butler County, Pennsylvania.³ She was the daughter of Lewis Clinton Pattersen and Hazel Ann Moore.³ Ruth Elaine Pattersen married James Albert Ryder, son of Albert Harry Ryder and Christina A. Mathieson, on 14 February 1947 at Beaver Falls, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.³ Ruth Elaine Pattersen became Bradley James Ryder's adoptive mother.³

     James Lewis Pattersen was born on 3 July 1926 at Slippery Rock, Butler County, Pennsylvania.³ He was the son of Lewis Clinton Pattersen and Hazel Ann Moore.³ James Lewis Pattersen married Shirley Ann Shannon, daughter of John D. Shannon and Polly Miracle, on 16 October 1953 at Hopewell Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.³ James Lewis Pattersen died on 25 February 1999 at The Medical Center, Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, at age 72.⁴ His obituary read, "James Lewis Patterson, 72, of Beaver, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, in The Medical Center, Beaver, following an extended illness. Born July 3, 1926, in Slippery Rock, Pa., a son of the late Lewis Clinton and Hazel Moore Patterson, he was a resident of Beaver for the past 39 years. He retired in 1985 as a supervisor at LTV Steel, Aliquippa Works, after 32 years of service. He was Presbyterian by faith and served in the 9th U.S. Army in Central Europe and the Rhineland during World War II. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Shirley Shannon Patterson; a son and daughter-in-law, Dean James and Paige Corley Patterson, Secaucus, N.J; a grandson, Paul James Patterson; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Elaine Ryder, Grove City, Pa., and Nina and Richard Gaugler, Oklahoma City, Okla., and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the J.T. ANDERSON JR. AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 205 College Ave., Beaver, where a service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. The Rev. David D. Byers, pastor of the Vanport Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery."⁴ He was buried at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.⁴

     Nina Ann Pattersen was born on 21 May 1928 at Slippery Rock, Butler County, Pennsylvania.³ She was the daughter of Lewis Clinton Pattersen and Hazel Ann Moore.³ Nina Ann Pattersen married Richard LaVerne Gaugler, son of George Rufus Gaugler and Mabel E. Taylor, on 28 October 1950 at Beaver Falls, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.³

     James Albert Ryder was born on 5 October 1924 at Springfield Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.³ He was the son of Albert Harry Ryder and Christina A. Mathieson.³ James Albert Ryder married Ruth Elaine Pattersen, daughter of Lewis Clinton Pattersen and Hazel Ann Moore, on 14 February 1947 at Beaver Falls, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.³ James Albert Ryder became Bradley James Ryder's adoptive father.³ James Albert Ryder died in 1986 at Grove City, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.⁴

     Albert Harry Ryder was born on 1 April 1895 at Pennsylvania.² He died on 30 November 1951 at age 56.²

     Christina A. Mathieson was born on 22 February 1901 at Pennsylvania.¹ She died on 29 November 1983 at Utah at age 82.¹

Shannon and Polly Miracle.² Shirley Ann Shannon married James Lewis Pattersen, son of Lewis Clinton Pattersen and Hazel Ann Moore, on 16 October 1953 at Hopewell Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.²

     Richard LaVerne Gaugler was born on 21 July 1925 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.² He was the son of George Rufus Gaugler and Mabel E. Taylor.² Richard LaVerne Gaugler married Nina Ann Pattersen, daughter of Lewis Clinton Pattersen and Hazel Ann Moore, on 28 October 1950 at Beaver Falls, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.²

     George Rufus Gaugler was born on 22 April 1901 at Pennsylvania.² He died in August 1980 at Pennsylvania at age 79.²

     Mabel E. Taylor was born on 5 June 1908 at Pennsylvania.¹ She died on 20 February 1995 at Pennsylvania at age 86.¹

     Lettie Florence McDeavitt was born on 31 December 1877 at West Liberty, Butler County, Pennsylvania.² She was the daughter of Isaac Warren McDeavitt and Elizabeth Hogue Wimer.² Lettie Florence McDeavitt married Perry Hazzard Kelly, son of James Calvin Kelly and Anne Clark, on 26 May 1897 at West Liberty, Butler County, Pennsylvania.² Lettie Florence McDeavitt died on 5 February 1942 at Ford Hospital, Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, at age 64.² She was buried at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, Wayne County, Michigan.²

     Isaac Warren McDeavitt was born on 26 March 1854 at Pennsylvania.² He died on 9 August 1923 at Pennsylvania at age 69.²

     Bertha Geraldine Kelly was born on 19 November 1898 at Ellwood City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.² She was the daughter of Perry Hazzard Kelly and Lettie Florence McDeavitt.² Bertha Geraldine Kelly married first Lyall Francis Cross, son of Michael Joseph Cross and Mary Ellen McCann, on 29 September 1923 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.² Bertha Geraldine Kelly and Lyall Francis Cross were divorced on 25 May 1927.² Bertha Geraldine Kelly married second Arthur Chester Welty, son of Arthur J. Welty and Lillian Mildred Barney, on 30 January 1932 at Upper Providence, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.² Bertha Geraldine Kelly died in February 1982 at Apache Junction, Pinal County, Arizona, at age 83.³

     Mansel Howard Hogue was born on 14 November 1893 at Ellwood City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.² He was the son of John Carl Hogue and Anna Rosetta Houk.² Mansel Howard Hogue married Fern Gladys Kelly, daughter of Perry Hazzard Kelly and Lettie Florence McDeavitt, in 1916 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.² Mansel Howard Hogue died on 7 April 1987 at Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County, Florida, at age 93.³
