     Adelaide Countess of Carcassonne was born circa 949 at Carcassonne, Aude, France. She married Roger I, Count of Carcassonne, son of Arnaud I, Count of Comminges and Arsinde Countess of Comminges, in 1001 at France.

     Ralph de Bessin was the son of Malahule Eysteinsson.

     Gersinde Countess of Albi was born circa 832 at Albi, Tarn, France. She married Eudes Count of Toulouse & Rouergue circa 855.

     Adelajda 'The White', Princess of Poland was born between 940 and 955 at Poznan, Poland. She was the daughter of Ziemomysl Prince of Poland. Adelajda 'The White', Princess of Poland died in 997 at Hungary.

     Adelaide was also known as Judith. She was born in 850 at Paris, France. She was the daughter of Adalard Count of the Palace. Adelaide was born in 853. She died after 10 November 901.

     Regnier de Hainaut was the son of Giselbert Count of the Moselle and Ermengarde de Lorraine. Regnier de Hainaut died in 916 at Hainaut.

     Ermengarde de Lorraine was also known as Ermengarde Duchess of the Moselle. She was born circa 830 at Italy. She was born circa 832 at Alsace-Lorraine, France. She was the daughter of Lothaire I, Emporer of the Holy Roman Empire and Ermengarde Countess of Tours. Ermengarde de Lorraine married Giselbert Count of the Moselle in 846.

     Richard de St Sauveur I was the son of Malahule Eysteinsson. Richard de St Sauveur I died after 933.

     Cnut Svendson was the son of Svend I, 'Forked Beard', King of Denmark Norway and Gunnhild. Cnut Svendson was also known as Canute Svendson.

     Frederuna of Ringelheim was born circa 900. She was the daughter of Theodoric Count of Ringelheim and Ludmilla Ragnhildis.

     Anna Bulford Smith was born on 3 November 1892 at Pennsylvania.¹ She died on 6 October 1987 at Pennsylvania at age 94.¹

     Aethflaed of Northumberland was born in 1009. She was the daughter of Siward Bjornsson Earl of Northumberland and Aelfled of Bernicia. Aethflaed of Northumberland died in 1040.

     Eustache II, Count of Boulogne was born circa 1030 at Boulogne, Pas-de-Calais, France. He was the son of Eustache I, Count of Boulogne and Mahout of Louvain. Eustache II, Count of Boulogne married an unknown person in December 1057. He died circa 1093.

     Hugh Bardoul was born circa 1004 at Brozes and Nogent, France.

     Henry I, 'the Quarrelsome', Duke of Bavaria was born in 918. He was the son of Heinrich I, 'The Fowler', King of Germany and Saint Matilda of Ringelheim. Henry I, 'the Quarrelsome', Duke of Bavaria married an unknown person in 938. He died on 1 November 955.

     Heinrich I, 'The Fowler', King of Germany Heinrich I of Germany, Duke of Saxony, was chosen as King of Germany in 919 by the other German rulers and reigned over Germany 919-936. During his reign Germany was something like a confederation of territories such as Bavaria, Schwabia, Franconia and Lorraine. He was known as the 'City-Builder'. He is named as the head of the Saxon dynasty. He was born in 876 at Saxony. He was the son of Otto 'The Illustrious', Duke of Saxony and Hedwige de Bavaria. Heinrich I, 'The Fowler', King of Germany married Saint Matilda of Ringelheim, daughter of Theodoric Count of Ringelheim and Ludmilla Ragnhildis, in 907. Heinrich I, 'The Fowler', King of Germany married Saint Matilda of Ringelheim, daughter of Theodoric Count of Ringelheim and Ludmilla Ragnhildis, in 909. Heinrich I, 'The Fowler', King of Germany died on 2 June 936 at Mensleben. He died on 2 July 936 at Membleben, Saxony.

     Oda de Saxe was also known as Oda of Metz. She was born circa 860. She was the daughter of Otto 'The Illustrious', Duke of Saxony and Hedwige de Bavaria.

     Boleslav I, King of Poland was born in 967. He was the son of Mieszko I, King of Poland and Dubravka Princess of Bohemia. Boleslav I, King of Poland died in 1025.

     Otto I, 'The Great', Emporer of the Holy Roman Empire was also known as Otto I, King of Germany. He Otto was crowned as King of Germany in Aix-la-Chapelle in 936. To emphasize the subservience he demanded from all the German nobles, Otto had the Dukes of Bavaria, Schwabia, Franconia and Lorraine wait upon him at the banquet which followed the coronation ceremonies in the cathedral and indicated that henceforth they would be his vassals and that power woud be vested in his person alone. The dukes naturally resented this decrease in their influence. Soon some of them gathered together bands of armed followers and revolted against Otto. One of his half-brothers, Thankmar, went so far as to rebel against Otto in Saxony itself. Eberhard, the Duke of Franconia, came to Thankmar's assistance, but Otto succeeded in quelling this rebellion with the help of the Duke of Schwabia who, luckily for Otto, had quarreled with Eberhard.
Under Otto the Holy Roman Empire was reestablished and strengthened by the inclusion of Italy. He was crowned Holy Roman Emporer on January 31, 962, in St. Peter's in Rome by Pope John XII. He ruled the empire 962-973. Otto fought against both Louis IV of France and later Hugh the Great of France, both of whom were his brothers-in-law. He was later associated with Wenceslas, Duke of Bohemia, eventually making him the King of Bohemia, and avenged his murder by executing Wenceslas' mother, who had plotted the massacre.
Otto made himself the head of the Church by forcing Pope John XII to swear an oath of allegiance to himself, so that the Pope became his vassal. Later, when John showed signs of regretting this oath, Otto deposed him. Otto selected Pope Leo VIII as John's successor and decreed that henceforth no Pope should be elected without his consent. Later, following the death of Leo VIII, Pope John XIII was imposed by Otto on the Church. He was born on 23 November 912. He was the son of Heinrich I, 'The Fowler', King of Germany and Saint Matilda of Ringelheim. Otto I, 'The Great', Emporer of the Holy Roman Empire died on 7 May 973 at Memleben, Saxony, Germany, at age 60.

     Wenceslas 'Good King', Duke of Bohemia was born in 907. He was the son of Vratislav I, Duke of Bohemia and Drahombira ze Stodor. Wenceslas 'Good King', Duke of Bohemia died on 27 September 929; Murdered by brother Boleslav.

     Adelaide of Barcelona was born in 1004. She was the daughter of Raimund Borrel I, Count of Barcelona and Ermensinde de Carcassonne. Adelaide of Barcelona died in 1051.

     Aethelthryth was born in 1000. She was the daughter of Aldred of Bernicia.

     Ralph de Toeni III Ralph is listed on the Falaise Roll for the Battle of Hastings. He was born circa 1030 at Toeni, Conches, France. He was the son of Roger de Toeni 'The Spaniard' and Godheut. Ralph de Toeni III died in 1102.

     Ealdgyth of Bernicia was born in 1035. She was the daughter of Aldred of Bernicia.

     Gerberge of Boulogne was born in 1020. She was the daughter of Eustache I, Count of Boulogne and Mahout of Louvain. Gerberge of Boulogne died in 1049.

     Nogent was born before 982. She married Guillaume Baron Montfort, son of Amauri I and u of Cambray, before 996.

     U of Cambray was born before 938. She was the daughter of Isaac of Cambray.
